A Day of Revolutionary History

Join us to celebrate “A Day of Revolutionary History” presented by the Roger Sherman Chapter NSDAR, on September 15, 2018, from the hours of 10am to 4pm. This action-packed day will take place on the grounds of the New Milford Historical Society and Museum, 6Aspetuck Ave, New Milford.

There will be a Revolutionary encampment, Constitution week celebration, colonial children’s games, and a children manual of arms drill with the Sixth Connecticut Regiment. Come explore your genealogy and discover your Revolutionary patriot at two-genealogy workshops, located in the New Milford Historical Society, held at 10am and 2:30pm or arrive just before 1pm to enjoy “A Participatory Experience of 18th Century Music and Dance” with “Patricia Campbell and the Reel Thing”. A Constitution Week Bill of Rights skit performed by the Charles Merriman Society, Children of the American Revolution, will top off our celebration. Don’t miss the fun.
