Brand new weekly Bible Study for Women - Please join us as we begin a new group Bible study at Riverview Baptist Church, 126 Kent Road, New Milford, on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at 7pm. Title of Study: "Growing in Christ" (by the Navigators) The reference booklet we will use helps to explain the fundamentals of the Christian life. This is a study for a new believer or for someone who has an interest in Jesus. · A 13 Week Course for New and Growing Christians · Includes Lessons on: assurance of salvation, answered prayer, victory over sin, forgiveness, and guidance · We will be using the NIV Bible ►Are you interested in reading the Bible for yourself? ►Do you have trouble understanding the Bible when you read it by yourself? ►We will learn how to find the books of the Bible, and how to look up a chapter and verses within a book. ►We will pray and read passages for ourselves and share our thoughts and conclusions. ►The great thing about this group is that every question is welcome as we learn together, read, pray and discuss. ►Please bring a Bible if you have one.
