Wet Felt Merino-Silk Cowl Workshop

Wet Felt Merino-Silk Cowl Workshop
Saturday, October 14th 9:30PM - 2:30PM

$60 Members | $70 Non-Members

This wet felted cowl neck piece is created using a silk and merino wool blend fiber.  The fiber is variegated to provide rich color and the silk donates the fluid drape as well as the stunning but subtle shine to the finished piece. Finally, the unattached leaf-style magnetic closure offers unlimited ways to wear this fashionable scarf.

Pre-paid reservations required by Monday, October 9th

Participants must provide the following Materials
2 Bath Towels, one hand towel
1 Four Quart Plastic Bowl (example: Glad or Ziploc)
Plastic bag for wet towels
**Felting Soap** (Instructor will have plenty of mine to share if needed)
Plastic soap container
Measuring Tape
Optional: Water proof apron

The Instructor: Judy Pascale, a native of Connecticut and a lifelong knitter, launched her career as a professional knitting instructor and designer.  She has professionally sold her unique knitwear under the name THE JUDITH COLLECTION both privately and at juried shows.  For several years she was employed at a yarn shop where she taught knitting classes and assisted numerous customers with their knitting and finishing problems.  She now teaches knitting and design classes with the emphasis on customizing desired fit.

Most importantly, Judy has joined the ranks of other talented members of the fiber community whose explosive interest is creating a renaissance for these ageless art forms.
